Imagine spending a Spanish immersion holiday in northern Spain, discovering the most authentic side of the country — charming villages, local life and meaningful connections.
During one week, you’ll live the language every day:
You’ll take part in conversations whilst discovering the secrets of the villages, speak Spanish with the locals, taste the local wines and traditional cuisine, and learn about local traditions and culture…
All this takes place in an authentic, relaxed setting with small groups (maximum 6 people), so that you can speak, listen and learn with confidence.
Are you tired of feeling like a tourist in Spain?
Most of my students feel that their experiences of speaking Spanish are limited and not very authentic.
They tell me that their travels do not allow them to practise Spanish in a real way: conversations are often too fast, short or unnatural, or they end up speaking English instead.
But you’re not learning Spanish just to order food in a restaurant, right?
You want to communicate, connect, and enjoy the language while travelling.
That’s why Libera tu español offers Spanish immersion experiences for adults — one-week cultural and linguistic holidays in northern Spain.
A holiday trip specially designed for adults who are studying Spanish and want to practice it in a natural and enjoyable way.
Guided by a native Spanish teacher, you will practise in real-life situations, from breakfast to after-dinner conversation. You won’t waste your precious time trying to find native speakers to practise with.
Discover what our travelers say about their experience:
This is the second immersion experience we have had with Nuria. She is a great teacher, guide and leader. Always full of both patience and enthusiasm. Nothing throws her off balance.
She has designed and delivered experiences that allow language learners to engage with the culture and people of Spain with a lot mor richness than just bein a tourist on your own, or just doing language lessons in a classroom.
Every day is varied, and there are new experiences (like pottery and caligraphy) that I have neve tried before and never thought I would.
The mixture of food, arts, dance, music, history and culture is very enjoyable. And the discipline of staying in Spanish for a week with other learners is very beneficial.
I would highly recommend it if you have an intermediate level of Spanish. Don’t be embarrassed even if you can’t speak with perfection.

This is the second cultural week I have spent with Nuria and, again, she is a kind, thoughtful woman and an excellent Spanish teacher. She did an enormous amount of planning behind the scenes so that the week we spent in Somo unfolded without any problems.
We were able to discover a beautiful winery, museums, markets and spent a day in the precious village of Comillas. We took many walks along beautiful shores, visited interesting and beautiful villages, and took a boat tour, speaking Spanish and learning new vocabulary and expressions in context every minute we were together.
The food was excellent. Nuria continues to update me with interesting articles about the area and about other important Spanish grammar and expressions. I would highly recommend her cultural weeks as they continue to exceed my expectations.

Travel is my passion and I have been traveling the world since I was 18 years old. I am also a language student and have experienced the process of living in other countries.
I love my country and I am looking forward to showing it to you and sharing with you a meeting of cultures.
